Following the success of ‘Warm Space’ at the library which ran throughout the Winter and into Spring, we have received a grant from Sefton to continue with the warm welcome we were offering.
‘Welcome Spaces‘ will be continuing across the borough during the summer months running from May through to September on a Thursday from 10am – 4pm.
The Stationmaster’s House is a designated ‘Welcome Space‘ in North Sefton and everyone is welcome to come into our friendly community hub and library. Use the library or our modern comfortable meeting rooms on the first floor.
The space is fully accessible and there will be free hot drinks and biscuits available, puzzle books and newspapers. TVs and computers are available to use for free in the upstairs space and of course don’t forget there’s free Wi-Fi.
As a Sefton ‘Welcome Space‘ we’re a friendly and safe place to meet. Come along, bring a friend, have a cuppa, make connections and spread the word.

To find out more about Sefton Council’s network of ‘Welcome Spaces‘ this summer, details can be found on the Sefton website which includes a map of venues across the borough providing the service.

These include community centres, community hubs and other places offering a warm welcome. They are free to use for anyone but especially if you are feeling lonely or struggling with the cost of living.
All ‘Welcome Spaces’ will be safe and friendly places where you can comfortably spend time reading, studying or chatting with others. Some venues offer hot drinks and food, activities, and services such as free Wi-Fi.
