On Saturday 4th June we have an Open Day with extended opening hours (10 am until 4 pm) at The Station Master’s House to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
Our weekly Storytime Session for 1 to 4 year olds will be taking place at 10.30 am to 11.15 am and the team have also organised a Treasure Hunt around the village. It will be starting at the house in the morning with prizes for the winners. Watch this space for more details.
At the house itself, there will be plenty of activities inside and outside, weather permitting, including Jubilee crafts, cake and biscuit decorating as well as book sales. We’ve got the bunting up, we’re hoping the sun shines and we look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee in our local community.
