Warm Spaces

Everyone is very welcome to come into our Warm Spaces community hub & library every Thursday from 10am-4pm

Open from October 2023 until the last Thursday of March 2024 (please note we’re closed on the 28th December).

Warm Spaces is a comfortable and welcoming space where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, have a chat or enjoy looking at the newspapers or reading a book.  We also organize different activities throughout the day.

Apart one-off activities we have a popular quiz run by Mary on the last Thursday of each month at 2pm

Warm Spaces is open to both library members and non-members alike and is a great place to relax and unwind. You can also access free WiFi and PCs in the warmth.  Everything provided at Warm Spaces is free of charge.

Warm Spaces is located on the first floor of the Station Master’s House with great view of the trains approaching the station at the level crossing and Birkdale Village, so there is plenty to look at.  We are easily accessible to visitors with a fully accessible lift and toilet.  We are located right next to Merseyrail Birkdale station and bus routes, 15, X2, 2, 49.
