We are pleased to announce that Birkdale Community Hub and Library have been selected for Tesco Stronger Starts scheme, which provides grant awards of up to £1,500 to local community projects, with a particular focus on children and young people.
Our application for the scheme is – Improving Young Persons’ Literacy.
Three groups in every community are shortlisted to receive grant awards and Tesco customers can vote for the group they think should take away the top award in their local store. Voting will commence in store from the first week in April 2025 and run until the end of June 2025. To vote, you simply need to make a purchase within store, of any value, receiving one token per transaction.
