The library is now open for browsing

The library is now open for browsing

You can come in between 10am - 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10am - 1pm on Saturday. We have 3000 titles and growing - we’d love to see you so call in to join up and browse our stock in person. Membership is free, and our click and collect service from our webpage will stay open. We are also still accepting donations of good quality books of all types. www.thestationmastershouse.co.uk

Shared Reading brings people of all ages and backgrounds together through the enjoyment of listening to a short story, poem or extract from a novel being read aloud. Open for click-and-collect

Open for click-and-collect

We are now open for click and collect, simply register using the "Join the Library" section on the Home page of this website. We'll email you your login details a few days later and you can then logon to our library catalogue to browse and reserve books. Once you receive a second email telling you the books are available, simply pop in to collect them - we'll have them ready. The first time you arrive to collect your reserved books we'll want to check some form of ID such as passport, drivers...

We’re Opening!

We’re Opening!

We're finally opening on the 18th May 2021 for a click and collect book service. We can't wait to see everybody!  Right now you can browse the books in our online catalog, but from the week before the 18th you will be able to register to be a member of the library for free. Welcome to our new website

Our website has been redesigned in preparation for the opening of the library for click-and-collect when this is possible, and of course full opening later in the year. We hope you like the new colour scheme and layout which we feel is cleaner and easier on the eye. The library link in the header section will indeed let you browse out library stock, but unfortunately not yet reserve any books for collection until it is safe to do so. We currently need more help in the following IT areas,

– PC, network and software (Win10/Office 365) support. We do not currently use file servers but experience of basic shared cloud file storage (eg Dropbox) would be useful

– WordPress development and hosted email support.
