Join us for an intriguing murder mystery night on January 31st 2025, between 7:30 and 10pm. Ticket are £10 from the Station Master’s House, 2 Liverpool Road, Birkdale Village. We’re lucky to have the Southport Dramatic Society to help us stage the mystery. The setting is the 1920’s, wearing period dress is optional, and a hotpot supper will be provided.

The scene is a transatlantic liner sailing between Liverpool and New York. Lord Montague ‘Monty’ Carstaires is travelling with his wife Lady Caroline and Monty’s younger brother Freddie. Their young, rich guest Penelope Petersham is ripe for the picking. But an unexpected encounter brings to the surface a past which many had felt – and preferred – to be forgotten: a tale of spurned love and cowardice. And on a boat there is nowhere to hide…
